BUFFALO - Ryan Miller is a frustrated man these days. That comes with sitting out two straight games without injuries for the first time since 2006. Miller didn’t mince his words in an expletive-laced answer when asked about the current situation with the Sabres.
“I don’t want to mix things up, I’m here to win,” Miller said after Buffalo’s skate at the First Niagara Center on Monday. “That’s the emotion you get from me and if I’m discouraged, if I’m (expletive) off, that’s just how it is. I want to win, I don’t want to be out there getting scored on, I don’t want to be pulled out of the game, I want to (expletive) win the game.”
Miller was speaking after sitting out both of Buffalo’s wins this past weekend when Lindy Ruff decided to play Jhonas Enroth in goal instead of Miller. Enroth allowed just three goals in the wins over Calgary and Ottawa.
Miller has lost his last four games in net for the Sabres, while Enroth has won all of his four starts while allowing just 1.41 goals per game.
Lindy Ruff did not say who he planned on starting in net for Buffalo on Tuesday when Winnipeg comes to town.
