A drug often used to treat Attention Deficit Disorder could be promising for Alzheimer's patients.

A study funded by the National Institute on Aging says Ritalin helps with the lack of motivation common in Alzheimer's patients.

More than 70 percent of patients suffer from apathy as the disease progresses.

Researchers do say the drug helps treat the symptom, not the disease.
