Canada - If your morning meal of choice is a high-fat breakfast sandwich, you may want to rethink that decision for the sake of your heart.
Canadian researchers found that eating just two sandwiches filled with eggs, bacon or sausage and cheese instantly affected a person's blood pressure.
The study found that eating fatty sandwiches restricted blood flow to participants' arms and legs within two hours of eating the sandwiches.
Experts add that the high-calorie, high-sodium breakfast foods carry even more dangerous long-term effects, including an increased risk of heart disease and colon cancer.
