(13WHAM-TV) - A new study shows that stopping treatment of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in boys can have big consequences later on.
Researchers found men with ADHD, who did not continue treatment, were seven times more likely to drop out of school, made on average $40,000 less each year, and were twice as likely to get a divorce.
They were also more likely to have a personality disorder and go to prison.
The study is published in the Archives of General Psychiatry.
