A good daycare center will offer both physical and creative activities that are age-appropriate. For infants and toddlers, typical programs might feature playing with soft toys and rattles, as well as push and pull toys, riding toys, big crayons and musical instruments.
Problems sitting still
Many children seem to have boundless energy; but when they have constant problems sitting still, it might be more than just youthful spirits. Their behavior could be the result of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, or ADHD for short.
What will my child learn?
The types of learning activities scheduled will depend on your child's age group, and the particular daycare center they're attending. Very young children can't understand group lessons like counting or ABC's.
When should my child start preschool?
Though each facility may accept different age ranges, preschool programs are typically for ages three and four. Preschools may also be known as daycare centers, pre-kindergartens, or early childhood centers.
