Albany, N.Y. - More than a million drivers avoided paying tolls over the last 4 years according to new information released by the New York State Thruway Authority.

That adds up to $35 million in unpaid tolls.

Only $7 million of that has been recovered.

The biggest trouble spot is the Tappan Zee Bridge near New York City where nearly 80,000 vehicles and trucks did not pay tolls.
