Bloomfield, N.Y. -  The driver of the truck involved in a serious car crash that injured several teens is now charged with assault in the second degree.

The Ontario County Sheriff's Office says Alexander Brown, 19, was operating his vehicle in a reckless manner.

Seven teenagers were in the truck accident last week on Pond Road in Bloomfield. Four sisters were among those seriously hurt.

Teachers in the Bloomfield School District have been delivering hot meals to the family of the four sisters.

Classmates are collecting donations and planning fundraisers.
