Dansville, Livingston County - A 15-year-old may face charges for allegedly beating and biting his aunt early Sunday morning.

Several police agencies were called to a truck stop off I-390 near Dansville around 2:15 a.m. for a teen who was out of control.

Police say the teen was hitting and biting a woman in a parked car when they arrived.

When police intervened, the teen punched an officer in the head. The officer suffered a concussion.

Further investigation revealed that the teen had taken bath salts, which police believe led to his violent behavior.

The woman he's accused of assaulting is his aunt. She was taken to Noyes Hospital for treatment.

The investigation is ongoing and police say charges are pending.
