South Bristol, N.Y. – Bristol Mountain Ski Resort stopped making snow this weekend because of mild temperatures.

Drew Broderick, Bristol Mountain’s marketing director, said the snow made last week will hold longer than natural snow. The resort hopes to resume preparations for the ski season later this week.

Bristol Mountain, like other ski resorts in New York state, lost a lot of business last winter because of warmer temperatures.
