Brockport, N.Y.- Brockport Police charged a Hilton man with attempted murder after a stabbing at an apartment complex early Thursday morning.
Michael Pacheco, 29, is accused of going to his ex-girlfriend’s home at Willowbrooke Apartments on West Avenue in the Village of Brockport.
He’s accused of assaulting his ex-girlfriend and their 2-year-old child and stabbing a man who was visiting.
When police were called to the apartment around 4:15 a.m., they discovered the male victim with stab wounds. He was taken to Strong Hospital with injuries that don’t appear to be life-threatening.
The female victim and child were sent to Lakeside Hospital where they were treated and released.
Authorities say officers detained Pacheco as he was trying to leave the complex.
He’s been charged with second-degree attempted murder, first-degree burglary, first-degree assault, and endangering the welfare of a child.
