Canandaigua, N.Y. - The Canandaigua man who admitted to embezzling from the Greater Canandaigua Civic Center while he was the executive director was sentenced in Ontario County Court Wednesday morning.
49 year old Michael Cronin pleaded guilty in January to the charge of second-degree grand larceny. He was sentenced to one to three years in prison, plus restitution.
Cronin stole more than $71,000 dollars from the Canandaigua Civic Center. His attorney says that was a result of a cocaine addiction.
Cronin will make partial restitution before going to prison.
