Rochester, N.Y. - The man who spent 18 years in prison for a murder he didn't commit - now faces a lawsuit in a separate child sex abuse case.
Frank Sterling pleaded guilty last year to endangering the welfare of a child.
Now, the parents of that child have filed a lawsuit against him. In court paperwork - they allege the victim in the case suffered emotional and behavioral damage from the abuse.
The family is suing for $250,000 dollars in damages.
Sterling served time for the murder of Viola Manville. The conviction was overturned after DNA testing proved Sterling wasn't the killer. Mark Christie, already in prison for the murder of 4 year old Kali Poulton, later confessed to murdering Manville.
