Rochester, N.Y. - Former Greece Police Chief Merritt Rahn was released from prison Wednesday at 9am.
Rahn spent two-and-a-half years in jail for interfering with personnel matters at the Greece Police Department.
He won his release from the parole board last month.
In a transcript of the interview, Rahn told the board, "I can just go back out and show people I'm a law-abiding, hardworking person."
