Binghamton N.Y. - Time may have run out for southern New York landowners who thought shale gas would provide a secure future.

Governor Cuomo has repeatedly delayed a decision on whether to allow the drilling method known as hydrofracking.

Some say it is environmentally unsafe -- others say it would bring booming business to small towns badly in need of revenue.

One woman says she may lose her horse farm to back taxes that income from fracking would have covered.
