Man Attacked With Baseball Bat, Suspect Charged

Rochester, N.Y. -- A Henrietta man was arrested after police say he threatened and attacked another man with a baseball bat.

Richard Xamountry, 22, is charged with assault. Police say he told the victim in a text message he was waiting outside his place of work on Monday.

When the victim left work, he found his tires had been punctured. The victim drove to a nearby gas station on Monroe Avenue, where police say Xamountry attacked him with the bat.

The victim was injured in the attack. No word on the extent of his injuries.
