Man Hospitalized After Emerson St. Shooting

Rochester, N.Y. - A Rochester man went into surgery Friday morning after being shot on Emerson Street, according to Rochester police.

Police say the 33-year-old was shot shortly before midnight Friday and was rushed to Strong Hospital for surgery.

Police have not released the man's name, nor have they identified any suspects.
