Rochester, N.Y.- Rochester’s Mayor announced Friday the Director of Parking for the city is on administrative leave.
Mayor Tom Richards says Susan Olley will be departing City employment in the near future. "Let me stress that there was no malfeasance,” said Richards. “However, there have been continual problems with parking administration that need attention."
Molly Clifford, who is currently the Director of Fire Administration, will serve as Interim Director during the search for a permanent replacement.
The Bureau of Parking oversees on-street parking, municipal parking facilities, installation and maintenance of parking meters, collection of parking meter revenue, and activity of parking enforcement officers.
City leaders say an internal audit of the High Falls parking garage supports their decision to make a leadership change.
