I agree with City Resident 100%. Just look at how the corrupt Greece Police are by covering up the story of how a Greece Police officer took Joseph from the seen with evidence. They tried to cover up Joesph's DWI and drugs. The cop who took him from the seen should also be arrested. Now they are covering up this story as well. If I was high on cocaine and drunk speeding and hit someone, I would be put in jail. No cop would take me away from the seen to help me out. Like City Resident says, they cover for each other and cover up the problems. You speak up you will get no where. The Town of Greece should be held responsible for hiring all these scum bags with out background checks. That includes Pignato who should have never been hired. Then in 2004 Pignato should have been let go. But Greece still kept him. This rape would have never happened had the Town of Greece did its job correctly.

I see people write things like people should report things like this or drive to the nearest police station and report him. Have any of you ever tried to "report a cop" for doing something wrong??? I have several times, not for a sexual matter, but may other types of things, and the police department do nothing but gather info from you to defend "their officer" just incase you get a lawyer involved. Reporting a cop to a cop, is nothing but a joke and will get you nowhere. Look at this cop in 2004, a when even a lawyer DID get involved, the Greece police paid a lot of money to the victim, and the public did hear nothing about it, and the Greece Police let him keep his job so he could go on and rape another. The Town of Greece and the Greece police chief are as guilty as officer Pig. in this case, as well as probable many other cases we don't hear about. And how come with all of the cops writing on here, no of them challenge me on the fact that the Greece Police Cheat in order to get in the top Safest Communities list???

After reading some of these comments I can not believe how anyone would want to defend this police officer. He will get what is coming to him in court. If he has a family he just ruined it for good. I feel sorry for his wife and kids. He law career is finished for life. Its jail time.

Her lawyer says she spent several hours at his home in Hilton. He says Pignato forcibly and recklessly required her woman to engage in multiple sexual acts. Her lawyer says she was backed into a corner. “This officer knew her, knew where she lived and could easily arrest her and cause her to go to jail.

Pignato took this woman to his home(where he lives with his wife and kids) in Hamlin for 2 hours of sex while the family was out according to the woman's attorney. This sexual favor took place in his own family home. What a family man!!!!!!!! This was more than a speeding ticket.This woman was on probation and she would do jail time.
