Rochester, N.Y. – A movie screening at Highland Bowl had to be canceled after $5,000 of equipment was stolen Thursday night.
It was supposed to be the final night of Monroe County’s Movie’s in the Parks series.
When park staff arrived to set up for the screening of “Kung Fu Panda 2,” they found they were missing a projector, laptop and microphone.
Monroe County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating the burglary.
