Rochester, N.Y. - Wednesday night's already record-high Powerball jackpot grew again before the winning numbers were pulled on Wednesday night.
The winning numbers for the $579.9 million jackpot were 5, 16, 22, 23 and 29. The Powerball was 6.
At one point Wednesday, tickets sold at a rate of 160,000 tickets a minute nationwide.
The drawing is the second-largest lottery jackpot ever in the U.S.
