Rochester, N.Y. – A local business owner was shot and killed over the weekend.

The man was found shot to death in his car in the South Wedge Saturday.

Friends identify him as 32-year-old Ho Tai.

“He tried to support his kid,” said friend and fellow business owner, Mark Loi.  “He just had a baby [Thursday] and it just shocked me.  I just saw him Friday.”

Just before 7pm on Saturday night, Tai was found dead in his car on Veterans Place off of Alexander Street

Police say 54-year-old Vinh Dac Phan has been charged with his murder.  Neighbors tell us the accused is the victim's uncle.

Tai was the owner of Magic Nails in Lakeville.

Tai moved to the states about six years ago from Vietnam.
