Rochester Police Cruiser In Crash

Rochester, N.Y. - A Rochester Police officer crashed a cruiser into a utility pole Thursday night.

The crash happened just after 10 p.m. at the intersection of Danforth and Child Streets.

The officer was not seriously hurt in the crash. Police have not said what led to the accident.

The accident knocked out power to a few homes in the area.

Rochester Gas and Electric crews restored power in about an hour.
