Rochester, N.Y. - A Rochester woman will face charges for a hit and run and for driving while intoxicated.

State police say Chelsea Gelo, 21, was arrested Saturday on North Goodman Street.

According to police, Gelo admitted to hitting a vehicle on Pearl Street and leaving the scene.

Police say she was in the back seat at the time of the arrest, but admitted to switching places with the driver after the crash.

Police say Gelo smelled like alcohol and failed field sobriety tests; A breath sample later came back with blood alcohol content of .18%.

Gelo will answer to charges at a later date.
