Rochester, N.Y. (AP) — Federal prosecutors say a former New York postal worker who admits to stealing from the mail, took a Mickey Mantle baseball card, cash, jewelry and gold before being caught.

They say Dale Richmond of Williamson, pleaded guilty Monday to mail theft and mail tampering.

The U.S. Attorney's office says Richmond was an electronics technician at the Rochester Logistics and Distribution Center when he repeatedly opened mail and stole from it. A rare Mickey Mantle baseball card was among the items taken.

He faces up to 10 years in prison when he's sentenced in January.
