Stroller-In-Canal Child Leaves Strong Hospital

Rochester, N.Y. - The young girl who fell into the Erie Canal over the summer while strapped into her stroller is leaving the hospital today.

Selah Clanton has been at Strong Hospital since the day of the accident in August.

Prospects for her recovery were grim at first, but her mother now says she will be transferred to a hospital closer to their home in Florida.

The family was in Rochester to be at Strong Hospital for treatment for their other daughter.
