Boston, M.A. - Medication used to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder could help curb crime.

A new study published in the New England Journal of Medicine found ADHD medicine controls a patient's impulsiveness, irritability and restlessness.

Researchers found that control also works for illegal activity and violent behavior.

Researchers say the results may give extra incentive for people on the medication to stay on them.
