Gates, N.Y. - A tractor trailer caught fire around 2 a.m. Monday after its rear suspension gave out.
The trailer's rear wheels caught fire on 390 near Brooks Avenue.
The driver went several miles before he realized his rig was on fire. He was not hurt.
It appears that none of the cargo (rice) was damaged.
