Rochester, N.Y. – Saturday was a night of bell bottoms, afros, tie-dye and disco at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center, all for a good cause.
The 10th annual Ugly Disco raised money for Golisano Children’s Hospital.
Michael Fahy, Golisano’s assistant director of community affairs, said it’s one of the biggest – and most fun – fundraisers for the hospital.
“We really can’t thank (organizers) enough for the time and the effort they put into supporting the kids,” Fahy said. “More importantly than everything else, everyone comes out and has a wonderful time, a lot of laughs, dances their heart out and really enjoys themselves.”
