Rochester, N.Y. – Wegmans took Saturday to celebrate the success of the Olympics by giving away free cake at each of their locations to customers and employees.

Wegmans had the celebration at each of the 80 stores.

Each branch had the bakery create their own unique cake with a design on it.

One of the Rochester cakes featured names of local athletes, including Pittsford’s Abby Wambach, Riga native Jenn Suhr, Meghan Musnicki of Canandaigua, Henrik Rummel from Pittsford and Ryan Locthe, originally from Ontario County.
