Manchester, N.Y. - A 40-year-old woman has been arrested for animal cruelty after her 3-month old puppy died, according to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
Anne Marie Hudson of Route 96, Shortsville, was arrested because she didn’t get medical help for her puppy which had been vomiting several times daily for a month.
An investigation showed the pup died March 6, and the remains were placed in a neighbor’s plastic trash bag.
Hudson was arrested and charged with animal cruelty, and will appear in Manchester court at a date not yet determined.
