Rochester, N.Y. - A Rochester woman will have to repay $2,000 and spend the next two years under supervised release for stealing from the U.S. Postal Service.
Mary T. Walworth, 45, was convicted of stealing money from several registers at local post offices, according to United States Attorney William J. Hochul, Jr.
She was an employee of the U.S. Postal Service for approximately 11 years as a sales and service associate when it was discovered she was stealing stamps and money.
She also took books of stamps from one post office, sold them at another office and kept the money for herself.
