Warsaw, N.Y.- A Hilton man is under arrest, accused of stealing thousands of dollars in jewelry in Wyoming County and then pawning it in Rochester.
State Police charged Matthew Adams, 21, with third-degree grand larceny.
Adams is accused of stealing the jewelry from a home in the town of Pike. Police say he was a guest at the time. Authorities say he took the stolen items to Rochester where they were pawned and sold.
Police say they’ve been investigating the case for the past six months.
