Farmington, N.Y. – Police say Quincy L. Meeks, 32, died late Saturday night when he was hit by a car in the roadway.
Meeks was struck by a Nissan Sentra on Route 96, according to Ontario County police.
Police say after Meeks was struck he was transported to F.F. Thompson Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 10:10 p.m.
Route 96 was closed for several hours while the crash was reconstructed.
Police are still investigating the cause of the crash.
