Friendship, N.Y. – State Police are investigating an ATV crash in Allegany County that killed a man.
Troopers say Dale Cotton, 50, crashed on a trail near Byrnes Hill Rd in the Town of Friendship just before 9:30 Saturday night.
Cotton was taken to Jones Memorial Hospital in Wellsville with a head injury and was later pronounced dead. Troopers say he was not wearing a helmet.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
