Rochester, N.Y.- A Monroe County Jail inmate is facing new charges after allegedly assaulting a Sheriff’s Office corporal while in custody.
Police said Wednesday Tricia Dawson, 29, slipped free from her handcuffs and punched the corporal in the face.
The corporal suffered injuries to his head and hand.
Dawson was charged with second-degree Assault, a felony.
