Hamlin, N.Y. — Late Tuesday afternoon drivers along the Route 104 corridor were met by a fierce winter storm.
Visibility was near zero along portions of the Lake Ontario State Parkway as well as Route 104.
“White-outs, very nasty, on 259, very slippery (you) just have to be careful,” said Bob Dill of Webster.
Snow was falling at a rate of more than one inch every hour spanning into the evening, according to Weather Authority meteorologists.
