LeRoy, N.Y. - An industrial hygiene testing and safety consultant will announce Saturday that it recommends more testing at LeRoy High School.

Schools Superintendent Kim Cox will be on hand for a community meeting at the high school at 9 a.m.

Leader Professional Services in Pittsford was hired to review testing already done at the school following twitching that developed in more than a dozen LeRoy High School students since last fall.

In a release from the law firm handling media relations for the school district, the school district said "LPS has completed its review and will present its recommendations for a work plan for additional testing."

Also today, the New York State Health Department released its first report on the 12 confirmed and 6 suspected cases, saying the district does not need to restrict school-related activities or take any special health-related precautions.

The Health Department's investigation did not find infectious or environmental causes for these illnesses.

The community meeting begins at 9 a.m. in the high school auditorium.
