Washington (AP) - Florida Sen. Mark Rubio says, "God has a funny way of reminding us we're human."

His big moment in the spotlight last night -- delivering the Republican response to President Barack Obama's State of the Union address -- is generating a lot of chatter on social media. But much of it is focused on his mid-speech water break.

Rubio appeared to wipe away sweat during his rebuttal from the Speaker's conference room in the U.S. Capitol. At one point, he stretched out his left hand, grabbed a small plastic water bottle, and took a brief swig.

As the water break gained notice online, he sent a photo of the bottle from his Twitter account.

Speaking this morning on ABC's "Good Morning America," Rubio said, "I needed water. What are you going to do?"
