Canandaigua, N.Y.- A teacher in Canandaigua accused of having sexual contact with a 16-year-old boy is facing new charges.
After a joint investigation with Canandaigua City Police, Ontario County Sheriff’s deputies have now charged Lisa Footer, 44, of Manchester, with third-degree sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child.
Police say the joint investigation revealed Footer had sexual contact with the 16-year-old boy inside her Manchester home in July and at a location in Canandaigua in November.
Police say at this time there is no evidence to suggest Footer had sexual contact with the boy on school grounds or during school hours.
Footer is on administrative leave.
