3 Men Accused Of Selling Stolen Property At Local Pawn Shops

Brighton, N.Y. - Three local men are under arrest accused of buying and selling stolen property at two local pawn shops.

Michael Dionese, 23 and Michael Sheffer, 23, of Henrietta, are charged with two counts of criminal possession of stolen property.

State Police said Dionese and Sheffer were employees at the Mega Pawn stores in Brighton and Irondequoit.

While employed at the businesses, authorities said the defendants were frequently purchasing known stolen property and selling the merchandise in their stores and through online retail accounts.

A third defendant, Lajuane Green, 38, of Rochester, is also charged with two counts of criminal possession of stolen property.

He’s accused of selling more than $3,000 worth of stolen property at King Exchange.

Police said the investigation is ongoing and additional arrests and charges are pending.
