Pittsford, N.Y. -- The Monroe County Sheriff's Office is alerting parents to reports of a suspicious man approaching girls at libraries and bookstores.
The Sheriff's Office says it has received reports of five incidents over the past two weeks. Similar incidents have been reported in Brighton.
In each of the incidents, the man allegedly approached girls between the ages of five and ten. Sources close to the investigation tell 13WHAM News the man licked the girls' feet.
The suspect is said to be a white man between the ages of 40 and 50, 5'9" to 5'10" tall and is balding with graying hair on the sides of his head.
Parents are reminded to be vigilant and keep a close eye on their children in public places.
Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
