Motorcycle Crashes Into RPD Car; Two Injured

Rochester, N.Y. – An overnight motorcycle crash sent two people to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Rochester Police say the 45-year-old rider was going north on Scio St. when he hit a police cruiser travelling east on University Avenue. Both the man and his passenger were thrown from the bike.

The man was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital and treated for a lower leg injury. His passenger was also treated for minor scrapes. The police officer was not injured in the crash.

The motorcycle rider could face charges, pending an investigation.
