Rochester, N.Y. - Steady snow will slowly taper off later tonight.
Look for steady, moderate snow at times this evening. Again visibility will be a problem on area roads before midnight. Significant travel issues with very slippery roads expected. Winter storm warnings and advisories will last until 5 AM Saturday morning.
Another 3-6" of new snowfall expected for the overnight which will bring storm totals to 10-16" along Route 104, but far lesser amounts south of Rochester. Temperatures will slide into the mid 20s.
Any lake snow showers will taper early Saturday morning with some sunny breaks returning by the afternoon.
Saturday’s temperature only rising into the lower 20s.
Sunday becomes mostly sunny and not as cold with a high in the mid to upper 30s.
