Rochester, N.Y. – It may be winter, but plans for this fall’s fashion week are already underway and the event is expanding.
Fashion week organizers announced Friday that a fourth runway show will be held at the Sibley Building’s former tea room, which will be the backdrop for a show featuring pets and pet owners.
“It may be the last time we see Sibley this way. Doggie fashion show, casting call, dog owners in shape,” said Elaine Spaull, the Executive Director of the Center for Youth.
Friday’s announcement was held at the Revelry restaurant in order to coincide with this year’s theme:
“Fashion feeds Rochester’s children”.
Fashion week organizers hope to raise $150,000 for the Center for Youth.
The event will also team up with Golisano Children’s Hospital for an after party that will feature a national musical act that has yet to be announced.
