Buffalo, N.Y. - The bus driver who rescued a suicidal woman was honored by the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.
Buffalo Metro driver Darnell Barton saw a woman standing at the edge of an overpass and knew she was getting ready to jump.
He stopped the bus and quickly went to her side where he talked her out of jumping. Then he sat by her at the overpass until help arrived. When he returned to the bus to resume driving, the passengers applauded his actions.
The Bills made Barton a guest at Sunday's game after giving him a special locker room greeting from the team's coach and CEO.
