Rochester, N.Y. -- There are just three days until Election Day. Candidates are reaching out to voters hoping they'll check their name on the ballot come Tuesday.
Volunteers worked the phones for Rochester mayoral Green Party candidate Alex White Saturday.
"I'm the candidate who wants to take the tax breaks that we're giving to the big developers and instead use that money to fully fund our schools, rebuild our neighborhoods and create jobs," said White.
Across town, Democrat Lovely Warren worked with volunteers to organize voters.
In September, Warren upset the incumbent Tom Richards in the primary.
"I love this city," Warren said. "I want it to not just survive, but to thrive. I'm committed to making sure that happens and building the bridges that we need to build in order to move our city forward."
Warren was endorsed by New York state Gov. Andrew Cuomo Saturday. On Friday, Monroe County Executive Director Maggie Brooks, a Republican, also endorsed Warren.
Another primary upset was in Henrietta. Candidates there are also preparing for Tuesday's election.
The incumbent, Town Supervisor Mike Yudelson, lost to Jack Moore.
Moore said he feels good about Tuesday.
"I'll listen and I will represent the people," he said. "I've been in town a long time, and I hope to be here a lot longer."
Yudelson, who switched party affiliations to be on Tuesday's ballot, was sending out last minute mailers Saturday.
He said feedback from the community since he announced the switch has been mostly positive.
"I'm feeling really encouraged and feeling great about the response I've gotten from people, he said. "People have stepped forward to help, and also as we've talked to people at the door, the response has been great.
Another contested race is for town supervisor in Irondequoit, where Republican incumbent Mary Joyce D'Aurizio is being challenged by Democrat Adam Bello.
A big issue there is the future of Medley Centre.
