Hornell, N.Y. (AP) - More than 100 members of a New York Army National Guard Military Police unit are heading to Mississippi.

Mississippi is the last stop before being deployed to the Persian Gulf.

National Guard officials say a mobilization ceremony will be held Friday at the state armory in Hornell in Steuben County for 130 soldiers in the 222nd Military Police Company.
