12 Toy Finalists Named For National Toy Hall Of Fame

Rochester, N.Y.- Twelve toys were named finalists Thursday to compete for the top two spots for induction into the National Toy Hall of Fame.

They include: Clue, Dominoes, Fisher-Price Corn Popper push toy, Lite-Brite, little green army men, Magic 8 Ball, pogo stick, sidewalk chalk, Simon, Star Wars action figures, tea set, and Twister.

Only two will make it into the hall of fame at the Strong Museum of Play.

The final 2012 toy inductees, chosen by a national selection committee, will be revealed on November 15.

They will join the 49 other toys already inducted.
