Tracking Down The Contractor
Doug Shanley has run all three companies out of the same post office box in Springwater, Livingston County. 13WHAM News spoke with separate landlords who confirm he is living with two different families at homes 25 minutes apart.
We went to those addresses.
Reporter: Is Doug Here?
Woman: No he’s not.
Reporter: I’m here from Channel 13 looking for Doug.
Woman: For What?
Reporter: How can I get a message to him?
Woman: That’s not my problem, don’t waste my time.
At that point the door was slammed shut.
13WHAM News attempted repeatedly to contact the cell phone number Shanley lists on his business contracts- the same number he supplies to clients. He hung up the first time. The second time the same woman that appeared at the door picked up and claimed to be the owner of the phone.
