Rochester, N.Y. - A local author has made a trip to London to accept a book award this week.
Evan Dawson, who wrote “Summer In A Glass,” about Finger Lakes wines and vintners, accepted the the “International Wine Book of the Year” Award in London on Monday.
Dawson’s book sold out at local booksellers Barnes & Noble soon after it was first displayed.
Dawson works as a reporter at 13WHAM News, wine blogger, and consultant.
